Role Description
As a GTM Engineer at NewEdge Growth, you’ll serve as a technical architect and builder for our clients’ revenue organizations. Think of this role as a product manager combined with an engineer for growth systems: you’ll identify GTM bottlenecks, spec and prototype solutions, deploy automations, and scale systems that directly impact pipeline, conversion, and revenue outcomes.
You will work with private equity portfolio companies and high-growth SaaS businesses, translating business needs into scalable systems that unlock revenue acceleration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design GTM systems for clients: write specs, prototype workflows, and implement automation/data solutions that move revenue metrics.
- Architect clean, scalable data models: manage CRM and data pipelines (HubSpot, Salesforce, Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran) to ensure accuracy, enrichment, and trust.
- Build automation and AI-driven workflows: use APIs, low-code/no-code tools (Make, Zapier, n8n), and AI/LLM frameworks to create agentic processes for routing, classification, and enrichment.
- Engineer signal-to-action workflows: turn micro-signals (product usage, social engagement, firmographic changes) into GTM plays for Sales, Marketing, and CS teams.
- Drive experimentation: test new growth hypotheses with speed, measure impact, and scale what works across client organizations.
- Enable client teams: deliver technical builds with clear enablement, training, documentation, and stakeholder alignment.
- Act as a cross-functional partner: collaborate with client executives (CROs, RevOps, Sales/Marketing leaders) to align systems with strategy.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in RevOps, Sales/Marketing Operations, Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Growth/Product roles.
- Proven track record building or optimizing revenue systems that drove measurable pipeline or revenue improvements.
- Technical proficiency in CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce), data tools (SQL, Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Census/Hightouch), and automation frameworks (Zapier, Make, n8n, APIs).
- Comfort applying AI/LLM-based solutions in GTM workflows.
- Strong commercial instinct - you tie system design back to business outcomes such as pipeline created, meetings booked, and hours saved.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical builds into business impact for executives and frontline teams.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous client environments with strong project ownership and accountability.
Preferred Skills
- Experience consulting or delivering projects for private equity portfolio companies or SaaS scale-ups.
- Familiarity with enrichment and signal platforms (Clay, Clearbit, ZoomInfo, 6sense, Apollo).
- Growth experimentation background (A/B testing, funnel instrumentation, lifecycle optimization).
- Public footprint (content, talks, templates, repos) demonstrating systems or automations you’ve built.
- Exposure to AI agent frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI orchestration).
What Makes a Successful GTM Engineer at NewEdge Growth
- Systems Thinker - you see the entire GTM stack and how each component connects.
- Revenue-Oriented - you measure success in pipeline and closed-won, not lines of code.
- Experimental Builder - you test, learn, and iterate fast.
- Autonomous Owner - you own problems from spec to prototype to scale.
- Empathetic Partner - you design solutions with the seller, marketer, and customer in mind.
- Learner & Innovator - you stay on the edge of AI, data, and GTM tooling.
What We Offer
- Competitive compensation with performance incentives.
- Opportunity to shape the future of RevOps and GTM at a global leader.
- Direct impact on high-growth SaaS companies and private equity-backed portfolio firms.
- A collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where your ideas and systems ship fast.
- Exposure to a best-in-class RevOps tech stack (HubSpot, Salesforce, Clay, Gong, AI frameworks, data orchestration).
